Life as we know it continues to change, and we at Creative Solutions Counseling are doing our best to not interrupt the services currently provided to the community. After lots of thought (and even some EMDR reprocessing!), we have made the very difficult decision to move to doing telehealth appointments only. While this may seem like an obvious decision, it was not. We want to do what is in the best interest of our clients, and know that this option may not work for everyone. We want to get creative with you to figure out a solution that will work for each individual client, so please express any concerns to your therapist. You can expect a message from your therapist before you next appointment.
We hope you can be patient with us as we navigate these new waters. Amazing things are going to come from this scary time. We want to keep connecting with you. And keep connecting with each other. Social distancing does not mean emotional distancing. Let's do this thing! - Ashley

Deb will be out of the office for the week of March 16 - March 20 but continues to be available via phone (218-969-4286) and telehealth for existing clients. She understands the potential for anxiety and fear created by current uncertainties, and encourages you to contact her with any worries or concerns. Deb's telehealth platform can be accessed here: https://abcd.theraplatform.com Ashley plans to remain in the office, business as usual, but wants to reassure you that telehealth is an option for anyone that does not want to or cannot travel to the office. Do not hesitate to contact her via phone or text (218-969-9796) with your concerns as well. Ashley's telehealth platform can be accessed here: https://CSC4K.theraplatform.com Rest assured that we are sanitizing surfaces, furniture, and doorknobs regularly. Our office may look different, as we have removed unwashable items (pillows, magazines, some toys) to further ensure the health of our clients. We will get through this together. Much love, Ashley and Deb At Creative Solutions Counseling 4 Kids the health and safety of our clients and therapists are always our priority. We know there are growing concerns around COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and along with you, we are closely following the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) and Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) for updates.
We have already taken precautionary steps in our offices to be sure we provide the safest environment we can for this community. With the support and collaboration with our building management we have increased cleaning protocols to be sure all doorknobs and other surfaces are sanitized more frequently. And we are asking that all therapists routinely wash their hands and/or use hand sanitizer. We encourage all to follow the travel guidelines. Anyone who has traveled to a level 3 country should stay home for 14 days from the date they left that country (currently that includes China, Iran, Italy, and South Korea). Currently, the CDC does not issue recommendations regarding travel within the United States, but currently Seattle and New York are "hot spots." Telehealth is an option if clients and therapists want to meet and cannot be present for an in-person session. The CDC recommends everyday preventive actions to avoid the spread of respiratory disease – wash your hands frequently and distance yourself from those who are coughing or sick. If you aren’t feeling well, we ask that you please stay home for your wellbeing and that of your therapist and our community. We are so grateful for you and your shared efforts to keep yourself and this community safe. In health and love, Deb and Ashley |
