At Creative Solutions Counseling 4 Kids the health and safety of our clients and therapists are always our priority. We know there are growing concerns around COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and along with you, we are closely following the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) and Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) for updates.
We have already taken precautionary steps in our offices to be sure we provide the safest environment we can for this community. With the support and collaboration with our building management we have increased cleaning protocols to be sure all doorknobs and other surfaces are sanitized more frequently. And we are asking that all therapists routinely wash their hands and/or use hand sanitizer. We encourage all to follow the travel guidelines. Anyone who has traveled to a level 3 country should stay home for 14 days from the date they left that country (currently that includes China, Iran, Italy, and South Korea). Currently, the CDC does not issue recommendations regarding travel within the United States, but currently Seattle and New York are "hot spots." Telehealth is an option if clients and therapists want to meet and cannot be present for an in-person session. The CDC recommends everyday preventive actions to avoid the spread of respiratory disease – wash your hands frequently and distance yourself from those who are coughing or sick. If you aren’t feeling well, we ask that you please stay home for your wellbeing and that of your therapist and our community. We are so grateful for you and your shared efforts to keep yourself and this community safe. In health and love, Deb and Ashley
