Getting Started:
You can call our main office number at 218-262-9880 and we’ll help match you with a clinician that is best fit for your needs. If you already have someone in mind, you’re welcome to contact a clinician directly to ask about availability and begin scheduling (please see below for direct numbers and links to our clinician profiles or use the OUR TEAM tab).

First Appointment: What Can I Expect?

What to Bring:

Insurance card (if you were unable to upload this into your client portal).
Any in person forms (only if your clinician has provided these ahead of time).

The First Visit:

The first appointment is intended to be relaxed and informative. Feel free to bring any questions, worries, or thoughts with you — they’re all welcome here. Your first session is a conversation and we’re here to make the process feel safe and comfortable as much as possible.

Expect for your first appointment to last 60-90 minutes. You will be asked questions about yourself or your child's presenting problem, history and family background. It is recommended that, if possible, please leave your child(ren) at home for your first visit unless instructed otherwise by clinician.

You will receive instructions via email to create an online client portal on our secure HIPAA compliant electronic health record system, Simple Practice. Prior to your appointment, please complete any intake questionnaires sent via client portal.
