Candice Berg, MSW, LICSWI am currently licensed through the Minnesota Board of Social Work as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). While ultimately, the practice of psychotherapy is where my heart was drawn to and continues to be, my history of invaluable experiences in the field of this helping profession began over 15 years ago as I worked with all ages from early childhood to elderly at different capacities and settings. I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology through the University of Minnesota, Duluth, in 2014. In 2020, I would then further my career while I followed my passion and obtained my Master of Social Work degree under a clinical track program through the College of St. Scholastica, Duluth.

I currently provide services to the adolescent and adult populations (13 years and older). Through an insight-oriented lens, I integrate compassionate and person-centered approaches with the clinical application of interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy, art, parts work, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, relational-cultural therapy, trauma-informed principles, and mindfulness-based stress reduction. This allows me to offer the tools, exercises, and resources beneficial to the healing and well-being in the treatment of individuals struggling with anxiety, grief, shame, depression, peer-relationships, trauma, and other stressor-related difficulties. What I love most about the process is being able to witness one’s growth and empowerment through their realization and application of their true potential and abilities to reach their identified goals.
