Deb is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker through the Minnesota Board of Social Work. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Psychology, as well as her Elementary Education Teaching Degree from the Bemidji State University. She graduated with her Master’s in Social Work from the University of Minnesota - Duluth, with a focus in Child Welfare. Her professional background included elementary education teacher and mental health program management with the Arrowhead Headstart Program. 

Deb recently retired following her care and dedication at Creative Solutions Counseling 4 Kids where she built something so truly special that started with an idea in 2013 to have safe space to heal and support so many young hearts and their families. Her impact will continue far beyond her retirement as the team continues to cherish and honor the values and commitment this agency was founded on.
